Tammy Hornung is a partner in the law firm of Hornung & Scimone, P.C. She has practiced real estate law in MetroWest and the surrounding communities since 1986. After graduating at the top of her class at New England School of Law, Tammy served as the managing conveyancing attorney for one of New England’s largest real estate firms for fifteen years. In 2001, Hornung & Scimone, P.C. was created to enable the partners to roll out their vision of a boutique law firm that understands the importance of client communication and puts a strong emphasis on service and relationships.
Attorney Hornung specializes in all areas of real estate law.
Tammy is currently living in Wayland with her husband and is a former resident of Sudbury for more than 20 years. Outside of her tremendous dedication to her career and her clients, she loves spending time with her grown children and 6 grandchildren. Tammy is a member of the Real Estate Bar Association of Massachusetts and the Massachusetts Bar Association.

David Scimone has practiced Real Estate Law since 1994 and opened Hornung & Scimone P.C. in 2001 with Tammy Hornung.
He complements his 25+ years of experience with a calm and collected style, which he believes best serves the interests of his clients. With an aim to have real estate transactions be a positive experience for all, Attorney Scimone tries to keep things as upbeat and enjoyable as possible. From introduction until closing, his clients’ needs are his top priority.
David is a resident of Hopkinton where he has lived with his wife and two daughters for more than 23 years. He has a second home in West Dennis, MA.
He enjoys being active in both sports and in helping out his community and is a member of the Mazie Mentoring Program: Framingham, and The MA division of the Giving Group.
He is also a member of The Real Estate Bar Association of Massachusetts and The Massachusetts Bar Association.

Attorney Sellers is a partner at Hornung & Scimone, P.C. and has been specializing in residential real estate conveyancing since 2001, performing over 1000 transactions throughout all of Massachusetts. He grew up in Reading and has lived in Wakefield for the past 18 years. His areas of practice include representing buyers and sellers in purchase and sale negotiations, representing lenders, including reverse mortgage lenders, as well as relocation companies and REO companies in residential real estate closings, and representing investor clients in real estate resale transaction. He is a 1992 graduate of Boston College and a 2000 Cum Laude graduate of Suffolk University Law School and was admitted to the Bar in 2001. Attorney Sellers’ keys to his success are his listening and communication skills, attention to details, and dedication to providing his clients with exemplary legal representation.

Nicole Pinkos is an associate partner at the firm and practices in the areas of real estate conveyancing, estate planning and title matters. Nicole’s title background has taught her the importance of attention to detail, importance of timely communication and has led to hundreds of successful closings for her clients. Her work includes, but is not limited to contract negotiations for purchase and sales agreements, REO transactions, comprehensive review of titles, clearing of all title related issues, title examinations, the drafting and execution of estate plan documents, and all matters related to real estate closings. She also successfully negotiates short sales (for both buyers and sellers) and advises clients on the implications of them. Attorney Pinkos graduated from New England School of Law and was admitted to the Bar in 2006. She has been a practicing attorney since 2006 and title examiner since 2004.

Melissa Gaboury is an associate partner at Hornung & Scimone P.C. She received her law degree from Suffolk University Law School and has been practicing real estate law since 2005. She specializes in buyer, seller and lender representation, refinances, condominium conversions and compliance, LLC creation, title examinations and issue resolutions, and short sales. Attorney Gaboury understands moving can be stressful, and makes it her goal to manage the legal details of every real estate transaction so clients don’t have to; to take what seems complicated and make it easy. With her keen attention to detail, willingness to travel, and timely responsiveness she has closed countless transactions with very satisfied clients.
Attorney Gaboury also leads sought after seminars for first time homebuyers, real estate agents, and mortgage professionals.

throughout the Commonwealth. She was born and raised in Minnesota and moved to Massachusetts in 2010. Chelsea concentrates on representing buyers and sellers in
purchase and sale negotiations, lenders in purchases and refinances, and investors, including 1031 exchanges. She is a 2010 graduate of the University of Minnesota – Morris
and a 2013 graduate of New England Law | Boston. Chelsea’s attention to detail, thoroughness and open communication style are keys to ensuring smooth transactions time

Chelsea lives in Franklin, MA with her husband, young daughter and French Bulldog. She is a Bruins and Patriots fan, and in her spare time enjoys music, wine, exercise and the outdoors.

Derek Ashe is an associate attorney on the Scimone Legal Team and has been with Hornung & Scimone, P.C. since 2019.
Derek received his undergraduate degree in Criminal Justicefrom UMass Lowell in 2019. He received his master’s degree in Criminology and Justice Studies from UMass Lowell in 2020, along with a Certificate in Leadership and Policy Development. During his time at UMass Lowell, he was a goalie on the club hockey team. Derek graduated Cum Laude from the University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law in 2023 and received a Certificate in Sports and Entertainment Law. During his time at UNH, Derek served as an editor on the UNH Law Review and as a teaching assistant.
Derek aims to make the home buying or selling process enjoyable and stress free with open and timely communication. Derek has strong attention to details and enjoys tackling nuanced and complex issues.
Derek grew up in Sudbury and is currently residing in Southborough. He has been an avid Bruins fan his whole life. In his spare time enjoys watching and playing hockey, managing his men’s softball team, golfing, and fishing.
